Single Phase UPS
Q1-When the Mains goes off the UPS is not giving any out put?
Pls check the battery connector and DC MCB.
Q2-I have Mains coming in the UPS, still the UPS is showing Red Indication “ ON BATTERY”?
The input supply could be either high/low than the desired level for the system to work in mains.
Q3-While working in battery after some time, the UPS gives a whistle and goes off?
Check the battery condition. If battery is old, it needed a replacement as it can’t get charged any more.
3 Phase UPS
Q1-When the Mains goes off the UPS is not giving any out put?
Pls check the battery connector and DC MCB for contacts.
Q2-I have Mains coming in the UPS, still the UPS is showing Red Indication “ON BATTERY” ?
The input supply could be either high/low than the desired level for the system to work in mains in either of the phases or all phases. Wait for some time to resume checking the input supply.
Q3-While working in battery after some time, the UPS gives a whistle and goes off?
Check the battery condition. If battery is old, it needed a replacement as it can’t get charged any more.
Offline/Line Interactive UPS
Q1-When the mains goes off, there is no output?
Pls make sure the computers are connected properly at the UPS output and the front panel switch is in ON position
Q2-We have mains input, but still the UPS is showing on Battery?
The Input voltage will be in lower/higher levels than the normal working voltage range of the UPS. Wait for some time for the input voltage to be in the UPS range.
Q3-There is a chattering noise and some sparking visible from the UPS?
It is most probably the Relays those are operating inside the UPS
Q4-When the electricity goes off, the UPS also goes off
The batteris are not getting charged. Check the battery connectors in case of external battery model. If the battery is old , it needed a replacement.
Domestic Inverter
Q1-No Mains Indication
Check the input supply and MCB’s to the system.
Q2-While working in battery, inverter trips?
Short circuit or over load in the output. Pls check the wiring or reduce the load incase of over load
Q3-Inverter is showing red Indication, still no Output?
Check the bypass switch at the rear end of the Inverter and try the position to either of the other ends of the switch.
Q4-While working in battery, inverter gives a whistle and goes off there after?
Check the battery terminals for corrosion & battery water levels battery is not charged
Industrial Inverter
Q1-No Mains Indication
Check the input supply and MCB’s to the system. Incase of 3 phase input, pls check the voltage in all three phases.
Q2-While working in battery, inverter trips?
Short circuit or over load in the output. Pls check the output wiring or reduce the load incase of over load
Q3-Inverter is showing red Indication , still no Output?
Check the bypass switch at the rear end of the Inverter and try the position to either of the other ends of the switch.
Q4-While working in battery, inverter gives a whistle and goes off there after?
Check the battery terminals for corrosion & battery water levels Battery is not charged
CVCF 1 Phase
Q1-There is no Output?
Pls check the input supply to make sure that the Systems is getting the Mains Supply. If yes, check the MCB’s at the rear end of the CVCF.
Q2-I have Input Supply coming my other machines are working but the CVCF is not giving any out put?
Pls check the Input Supply voltage it could be either on the higher side or lower side. The CVCF systems might have sensed the Input High/Low and hence the protection systems will be at work. Wait for few minutes for the input supply to stabilize .
Q3-My CVCF is tripping while working?
Pls check the indication, if it is Over load, then reduce the load. If no indication, pls check the ground (earth) voltage in the machine attached against the CVCF neutral output point. If any voltage above +5 volt, correct the input Ground of the machine If everything ok, disconnect the system from the mains and output, move it to the maintenance area. Open the covers and by using an air blower carefully remove all the dust particles accumulated inside the system. After doing so carefully press all the connectors to make sure everything is placed correctly and close the system and move to the working area and connect the mains carefully. ( Air blowing is recommended twice in a month when installed in high dust areas Eg: colour sorting industry
CVT
Q1-When I connect the load, the output drops ?
Reduce the load immediately. You might be connecting more load than the CVT can sustain. Also check the input voltage during that period, as it could be below the required range.
Q2-CVT is giving less than 200V output even in no Load?
It could be a problem with the condenser bank. It needed a replacement
Q3-While working in DG set, my CVT is giving irregular voltage?
Check the DG set Frequency and correct it to 50Hz
Servo Stabilizer
Q1-There is no output on one phase of the servo
Pls check the input of all phases to the Servo and its voltage range. High/Low cut off may me at work
Q2-Servo Stabilizer oil level is below the given level?
An oil replacement/top up is required immediately
Q3-Output voltage is not correcting as it held at one place only?
Pls check whether it is put in MANUAL operation mode from the front switch. Change it to the AUTO mode
Q4-The servo is giving a noise in between?
It could be the motor inside is at work, correcting the voltage fluctuations.
Solar Energy Systems
Q1-I have connected solar to the system, but there is no charging indication.
Make sure the solar is connected in the angle to receive maximum day light. Check the solar panel voltage and compare with the voltage range specified for each models. If the voltage drops below the specified level, there will be no charging. Wait for better sunlight or shift it to a place where you have better light.
Q2-I have connected solar as well as mains in hybrid model, but only the mains charging is showing
Check the solar input voltage. That could be below the working range. When the solar stabilizes, the mains charging will goes off.
Q3-While I connect the solar panel, the battery shows full/charger cut off indication
Check the battery water. The battery might have gone faulty and is not charging any more. May require a battery replacement/refurbishing
